What if you could visit all of India’s temples in one day? That’s about to become reality in Ayodhya & here’s the tea.
You’re reading the weekly edition of Dharma Times – every Friday, I tell you only the hottest news updates every Hindu, Sanatani & Bharatiya citizen must know.
Story 1 – TATA Sons’ ambitious temple museum project moves ahead
In early December, the UP Government has cleared a newly expanded proposal involving 52 acres of land, which will be utilised by TATA Sons to build a unique temple museum.
This plan, now amounting to nearly ₹750-crore, sitting on the land of जमथारा beside the Sharayu river, will feature Bharat’s most iconic temples, highlighting details of their architecture, construction & preservation of the knowledge.
This news comes weeks after another industrial titan, the Adani Group, announced its contribution of 100 crores for funding scholars & lending resources to preserve “IKS” – Indian Knowledge Systems, which are basically Bharat’s traditional knowledge frameworks across philosophy, mathematics, medicine, linguistics, architecture, ecology, and governance – these are being brought back to rid our education system of British colonial perspectives.
Taken together, these stories are showing a pattern that India’s big corporates are taking an interest in cultural revival & the infrastructure needed for preserving our Dharma is slowly falling into place.

Story 2 – UNESCO recognises our Deepavali’s tradition on the Global Stage
UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, has something called Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
Through this, it recognises certain local or regional customs, traditions & communities, not just monuments & museum pieces, and signals to the world that these practices need to be preserved & protected. It recently added our Diwali into this roster, marking a win for all of us who light diyas, dress up & celebrate the festival. The list also has Durga Puja, Kumbh Mela, Yoga, and Garba.
Basically, its UNESCO saying that we’re precious as a community. This is a form of soft power – when Bharat’s cultural symbols are being recognised on the global stage, it helps us get closer to our dream of becoming the Vishwa Guru – the world’s teacher.
In fact, this news comes alongside the update that Canada has amended one of its hate symbols bill to clarify that the Swastika we share with our Buddhist & Jain brothers, is not the same as Hitler’s Hakenkreuz. So the world is healing & recognising our truth. Those are all the relevant news stories I have for you today. Share this & follow me for more!
